Mohammed Bin Rashid City covers more than 54 million sq ft between Downtown Dubai, Business Bay and Meydan, framed by Al Khail Road (E44) and Ras Al Khor Road with the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary along its northern edge. Launched by Meydan Group in 2012, more than half the masterplan is given to parks and landscaped open space. Its districts each read differently: District One holds waterfront villas and mansions around a 7 km Crystal Lagoon, Sobha Hartland mixes apartment towers with villas, and Meydan and District 11 add villa and townhouse communities.
