Dubai Marina
A canal city carved into Dubai's Gulf coastline, where some 200 towers, a 3-kilometre yacht harbour and an 8-kilometre promenade meet the beach at JBR.
About the District
Dubai Marina spans roughly 52.7 million sq ft along the city's western coastline, built by Emaar around an artificial canal more than 3 kilometres long and open to the sea at both ends. Over 200 residential towers — among them Princess Tower, 23 Marina and Ocean Heights — hold studios through four-bedroom apartments, duplexes, penthouses and podium villas. The Marina Walk promenade, Dubai Marina Mall, Pier 7 and the beachfront at JBR give the district the character of a resort that never empties out.
Yacht Harbour at the Centre
A 3-kilometre man-made canal open to the Gulf at both ends runs through the district, with marina berths, an 8-kilometre promenade and waterfront dining along its length.
Two Metro Stations and the Dubai Tram
Dubai Marina and DMCC stations on the Red Line connect to the Dubai Tram, which links the towers, Marina Mall and JBR beach, and interchanges with the Palm Monorail.
Strong Rental Demand and Liquidity
With 4,506 transactions recorded in 2025 across more than 200 towers, the Marina is among Dubai's most liquid districts, giving owners a dependable resale market.
Area Overview
Dubai Marina is a high-density waterfront district positioned equally as a residential address and a holiday destination. Master-planned by Emaar and built out from the early 2000s along a canal cut into the coastline between Jebel Ali and Al Sufouh, it now holds more than 200 towers and over 120,000 residents. Tenants are largely young professionals working in Media City, Internet City and JLT, alongside a substantial short-let and holiday population; buyers are predominantly investors targeting that dual demand. Developers active in the district include Emaar, Select Group, DAMAC, London Gate, LIV Developers, Tiger Group and Bloom Properties.
