The Infinity Bridge links the islands to the mainland, placing Deira five minutes away, Dubai International Airport 20 and Downtown Dubai around 25.
Area Overview
Dubai Islands is a large-scale coastal masterplan by Nakheel, positioned as both a residential district and a tourism destination on the city's northern shore. Reconceived from the earlier Deira Islands scheme under the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, it comprises five islands across roughly 17 square kilometres, with an AED 527 million infrastructure contract for Shore Island signed in April 2026. Buyers are largely off-plan investors and early-stage second-home purchasers attracted by entry pricing well below comparable waterfront districts further south. Beyond Nakheel, active developers include Amali Properties, BEYOND, Driven and Sharafi Development, with hospitality from Rixos, RIU, Centara Mirage and Park Regis.
