About the District
Dubai Internet City occupies about 1.5 million sq ft, or 139,000 sq m, in Al Sufouh along Sheikh Zayed Road, bordered by Knowledge Village Park and Dubai Media City. Established in 2000 by the government with TECOM Investments as a free economic zone, it houses more than 1,600 IT companies — among them Oracle, Dell, Microsoft and Siemens — and roughly 24,000 workers. Residential supply is high-rise: studios to five-bedroom apartments, hotel apartments and full-floor penthouses with Gulf and Palm Jumeirah views, in towers such as The S Tower and Dubai Jewel Tower.
